Wants to thank all of my friends for being kind and lending me tips about my health. I always love my health. Even when I'm sick. I know I have it bad now, but there is someone out there who has it worse than me. I always say my prayers at night for people that have it worse, and I say prayers for myself to get well soon! But special thank you to those of you that have already prayed for me, and shared their thoughts.

DAY 59/365/2011Bert and I saw the new Adam Sandler movie. Just go with it! Loved it! Except Justin Barbier's movie was right next door and the music was so loud, you could hardly hear our movie. Until I complained with what little voice I have!! lol.

Today's love dare was to burn the list of negative attributes about your spouse and focus on their achievements. It also said to discreetly burn the list, but when I got done burning it, the piece of paper left almost looked like a heart!! Want to especially thank Two Miles North for having Back 2 Soul this weekend!!! What a wonderful bar and staff!! So Kind!! Would love to come back more often!! Saturday was amazing!! I was able to see the Ugli Stick, Wes Loper, and Back 2 Soul. All was happy in my world!! This is a picture of Dales Guitar... I decided to let this be my picture of the day because it had SOUL on it =) And the night ended with my honey's band!! xWe all have days where we feel like we are seriously going banana's. Today is one of those days for me. Coming home unpacking ect. Always good to be home tho! Home is really where the heart is!

Wishing everyone peace and love on this beautiful Valentines day we are having today! Went on a wonderful motorcycle ride with My husband and our friends Mike and Pam. It was nice being able to enjoy the day with another happy and in love couple! Mike and Pam are such great friends!! I wish we could take the bike to the Island everyday!! Pam, you had a very great idea about taking a cruise to the island today! The heart and peace sign was carved into one of the arm rails, it got my attention, so I made it today's photo!!

When we got home from our motorcycle ride, I had to show my baby Melody how beautiful this weather is we are having!!! I was still in my leathers and brought her outside for some enjoyment on her behalf. Melody is an inside cat, but on days like today, I bring her out side and let her sniff new smells and walk around =)

To everything, there is a season I've really enjoyed taking my camera every where with me this weekend and taking random snapshots. This picture caught my eye the most with the leaves and the snowflakes. It was taken at the Briar Patch. They have so many little tiny nick nacks around there :) I love that place!! It was a great place for my husband to play this weekend and for me to have my new camera to walk around trying out shots. It's a learning process and I'm learning with each photo I take about my new camera!! I have my first photoshoot with it tomorrow!!! YEAH!

Above is a photo my husband took of myself and my dog Maggie today :) I love afternoons like today when the sun is just warm enough but the wind is still cool enough to feel like a kid and play with my dog!! This has been a great day =)

This is how people have seen me to day... with a camera in my face :) I've been going around taking pictures of anything and everything !! This might not be the greatest self portrait in the world, but it's only the first day with my camera! I can't wait to learn so much more of what this Mark 5D will do!!!Of all the random shots of photos I have taken today, this one has to stand out. I was in such a fowl mood last night thinking my camera was broken, only to find out it was a piece that is able to be removed and replaced with a part of the focus system in my camera and was supposed to be there :) No FOWL MOOD TODAY!! I'm one happy girl!

My canon 5D Mark II came in today :) I've waited a long time to get a camera like this, and it came in with a piece broken on it. That's no fun. I've got to return it and have them fix the broken piece. I'm not happy about that one bit. But it will be here soon again :)

****UPDATE****
Come to find out my camera isn't broken, it's called a removable focusing screen. It just freaked me out when it fell out of my camera! The joke is on me! =) Gotta go to Calagaz in the morning to find out how it operates!!! WHOO HOOO!!

I picked the blue up today because I was drinking blue Gatorade (that's the background color...) My fortune cookie last night, allowed me to set a new goal for myself for this year... If my smile can help brighten anyone’s day than it is very worth it! Who doesn’t enjoy a nice smile? :) New Goal is to smile at a complete stranger every day!! I think it comes from working in sales, so many people look miserable, and treat you terrible. So I make an extra effort to smile at all sales people, cashiers, delivery people, waiters/waitresses and the like. They always get nothing but the best smile and a normally a laugh (at my expense) from me. If I make eye contact with strangers I either look away quickly or smile, but I am going to try to smile more. Older people seem to appreciate it the most, it really seems to make their day, smiling is free and it never hurts. :O)

I also plan to write more short stories. My Dad got me a book called, A Creative Writing Text, that I have read through and gotten my own ideas. I can't wait to start writing again, used to be the only way I could sleep when I was a kid. I may even start a short story Sunday picture theme and write a short story along with the photo!! DAY 4/365/2011 Improve Vocabulary

This is one of my favorite resolutions, to improve my vocabulary!! (not that it's bad now, just want to improve it... ) I plan on brushing up on Latin. I love Latin, I took it in high school. I should not have a problem understanding it once again. I plan on stopping the use of acronyms like IDK, BFF, LOL, when texting... or on facebook. I don't talk like that, why should I write my text's or facebook lingo the same way? I also don't plan on sending any texts that just say K! Nor will I reply to one. I think it's just a waste of a perfectly good text message!! My question to you is, do you agree about using acronyms, what do you think will happen to the younger generation today? Will they just be talking all day long like, BFF, IDTSGF, in codes all day?

Another goal I want to make is to read one book a month this year. For me, reading a book is a quick way of getting an easy escape. I hope to read 12 books by the end of the year. I went to the library today and renewed my library card. I am starting out with Joyce Meyer Eat the Cookie Buy the Shoes. I've been wanting ...to read it for over a year now. This is it!! I'm reading it this month!! If you have any ideas or suggestions on good books, or want to share the book you are reading, please let me know. I love inspirational books, books of love, comedy ect!!Her book title last year was an inspiration for me to take this photo on Jan 6th!!! I'm so excited I'm finally reading it!!:)

Day 2/365/2011 Resolution One LoSe WeIgHt

I realize that the best way to get everything that you want is to set goals. As we come into the New Year, there is no better time to set goals/resolutions for the New Year. The first goal I have set this year is to lose weight. I stand right now at 137. I fluctuate a little give or take five pounds. At most I can weigh 142. I hope to lose at least 20 lbs :D Have any work out suggestions or tips or things you are doing to lose weight this year? Please suggest them to me!! Thanks :)

I'm working on writing New Year's resolution's down tonight. I'm planning on taking photos of my resolutions for the rest of this week. I figured starting my year off with a real challenge would be turning resolutions in to photos :D I thought the sparkler made a heart on the right hand side of the photograph!! Hey, I put some new shoes on,
And suddenly everything is right,
I said, hey, I put some new shoes on and everybody's smiling,
It's so inviting!

I had so many different ideas for my photo today, but the weather kept me doing a photo inside. I got some new converse today... and decided to put Be Original, unique, and yourself along with day 364!!! I needed inspiration... then while taking the photo the song, New shoes popped in my head. Gotta love the sudden almost last minute inspiration!!! Here's to new shoes, and day 364!!! I DID IT!

I started this project smiling, and I will end it smiling. Not to say there weren't down falls in between, but I made it though.I am defiantly smiling because I was able to complete this project FINALLY! It's the kind of amount I notice; three flowers, three people, three of anything together stands out. Wishes come in threes, as do blind mice, bill goats gruff, house-building pigs and porridge eating bears. In tarot, three stands for creativity and intuition. There's the Rule of Three, which states "whatever energy a person puts out into the world, be it positive or negative, will be returned to that person three times." Three is also the amount of years I have tried project three sixty five and the third year, I got close to three day's left!! Third time's a charm!!! And I used three colors in this photo I haven't used much at all this year :D

My Christmas outfit :) I just love it!! AND I know I am an Auburn Fan, and this looks so ALABAMA... but it was on sale, and CHRISTMAS COLORS... so I got it!! ♥ Bert and I had a nice afternoon despise the traffic. I've missed him so much the past few days with him working over time, it hardly feels like Christmas without him home. But he is off tomorrow and the weekend!! I'm so thankful!! I really can't believe I still have wrapping paper left after wrapping almost 25 gifts in one night!! I usually divide it up and wrap some here and there, but I was determined to get the gifts done while I was waiting on the lunar eclipse and then after the lunar eclipse. :)8 more days of my project 365!! So, 15 more days are left of the year!!! Today is day 350 of my 365 project. I must say, I have learned so much on my camera, and so much more to learn!! :) I'm all smiles I've made it this far, and only one day I was almost 15 minutes till midnight struggling with a photo to take!!! I think I'll pat myself on the back for a job well done!!

Thanks to my Step Daughter Catherine, she suggested making little marshmallow snowmen for my photo today :) I think the lights look like snow falling in the background!! :)

* 1 bag large marshmallows
* 1 container chow mein noodles
* 1 package orange tic-tacs
* 1 package multi-colored tic-tacs
* 2 ounces melted chocolate
* Assorted small candies of your choice

I think I might let this be our Christmas cards!! So cute!!

Frosty The Snowman

Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul,

Disclaimer:::I had wanted to use the white lights instead of the color lights to make it look like stars in the sky. I couldn't get the shot I wanted, so I went with the color!
Christmas is not just a day. It's a frame of mind. To get into the Christmas spirit tonight, Bert and I decorated a gingerbread house. It's our first one we have decorated together!! I think it turned out pretty good!! We plan on watching the Santa Clause with Tim Allen tonight too!!

YESTERDAY: I was thankful for the IRON BOWL! This is the only game in Alabama that ever really matters to both teams. Gives us braggin' rights for an entire year, until the next Iron Bowl. It divides friendships, families, couples ect during the game. But this year my team won, and I couldn't be happier!! WAAAAAAAAAR EAGLE BABY!

These are the jeans I designed yesterday for the game. My husband and I helped dj at a bar and the bar had the best costume contest! I WON! :) I even had Alabama fans coming up to me saying, "If that was a pair of Alabama jeans with that on them, I'd wear those for sure ! Very creative! lol."

TODAY: I'm thankful for vegetarian vegetable soup, and for that matter, food in general! It's an amazing thing that we have access to all the affordable food choices we could imagine. I'm so lucky to be able to put food on the table every day, especially all the yummy stuff i love! Even Thanksgiving day!!

PS

I'm also th...ankful for my health today... up until recently, I've been doing pretty well since my thyroid removal. I got my flu shot with the swine flu in it this year on Monday and I've been sick as a dog since. So, while the rest of ya'll are with family and friends, I'll be at home eating a nice bowl of soup!!

I wish it were the other way around. I want to be with my friends and family so bad. It's not fair being sick on a holiday :(( Especially one that involves hanging out with family and giving thanks for being with one another.
